The internet is the best marketplace when shopping for a laptop, especially when you don’t have the time to hop from one computer store to another. Illustrated below, are some of the benefits of buying a laptop from the internet:
#1: Convenience
Perhaps the greatest benefit of using the internet to purchase a laptop is convenience. You do not have to worry about operational hours as you can make your purchase at any given time no matter where you are. Moreover, you do not have to leave the comfort of your home or office. Online stores are open for business 24/7. There are no traffic jams which you have to endure.
#2: Variety
Every shopper desires to get a return on his or her investment. Hence, this is the main reason why you need to shop for laptops online. Whether you are buying a notebook, netbook or laptop, there is a wide variety to choose from. At the click of a button, you can view hundreds of laptop models and makes from different manufacturers worldwide. If you are not satisfied with the color, design or make of a certain laptop, you can always checkout a different design.
#3: Product Reviews
One of the demerits of shopping for goods online is the fact that you cannot physically examine what you are buying. However, product reviews published by other consumers will provide you with an insight while shopping for a particular brand of laptop. There are online forums where you can post your questions regarding certain laptop models and they’ll be promptly answered by consumers who have purchased them.
#4: Price Appraisal
Once you have identified the type of laptop you would like to acquire, then next huge step is to establish its tag price. There are numerous sites that can assist you with price appraisals, thereby allowing you to determine the average price of a laptop.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad SL400 which has a shiny black lid. As far as scratches go, you can see a colpue if you look at it at the right light at the right angle, and it picks up fingerprints like nobody’s business because it’s glossy, but a solution of 1 part detergent 5 parts water generally fixes up the fingerprint marks. It’s not the most stylish, only because it’s a ThinkPad, but if you like it, then you like it and it doesn’t matter what other people say, because they’re generally tools.Enjoy your new lappy. I am hoping to phuarcse a laptop soon and I just found this one on the web, I find it has some good qualities, sound, graphics, but it looks quite chunky and has a plastic look/feel, as you say like the keyboard. And I’m wondering if you could tell me if you prefer the dell xps 15, or the new dell inspiron 15r? I was originally looking into the inspiron. Also you may not know of it but anything to say on the Toshiba L650? Thanks
